Read any two books from this list
Local author Mae Respicio will be joining us for our annual book fair this November. Please consider reading her book, The House That Lou Built.

Librarian Picks

We have a lot of great books on the summer reading list, but which are our favorites? We've tagged our Librarian's Picks blogs so we can sort out all of our recommendations for each list.

eBooks

Picture
Upper school students have access to Overdrive over this summer. This is a platform that allows check outs of ebooks that can be read on your computer, iPad, Kindle, Nook, or other devices. To check them out and view a list of ebooks that are on the summer reading lists, go to the Sora app or website. Just log in with your MCDS username (the part before the @ in your school e-mail) and password.

Book Trailers

Having trouble picking which book to read? Try watching some book trailers. These videos contain author interviews, book summaries, and other information to help you pick.
