The moment Frenenqer meets Sangris she knows that he will lead to trouble, but she simply can't resist the temptation of his wings.
I enjoyed hearing about all the countries Frenenqer had lived in, her best friend was charmingly quirky and supportive, and the sarcastic barbs she trades with the shapeshifter as they get to know each other were amusing. I'd recommend it to fans of modern fantasy like Daughter of Smoke and Bone.
