5th Grade 2023 Summer Reading

Incoming 5th graders are required to read any two books from the list. We encourage you to pick books from different genres. For example, if you choose a book from the Fantasy section, choose a second book from another genre. Stretch yourselves! Look outside your comfort zones! Try something new! 

eBooks

Upper school students have access to Overdrive. This allows you to check out ebooks that can be read on your computer, iPad, Kindle, Nook, or other devices. To check them out, go to the Sora app or website. Just log in with Google and select your MCDS account.​
