6th Grade 2022 Summer Reading

Incoming sixth graders are required to read:
  • Wonder by R.J. Palacio
  • Auggie & Me by R.J. Palacio

Be sure to read (or reread) both titles (Wonder and Auggie & Me) at the end of the summer. This way the books will be fresh in your mind when school begins.

We also warmly encourage you to read a book or two from the summer reading list compiled by our MCDS librarians.

Upper school students have access to Overdrive. This allows you to check out ebooks that can be read on your computer, iPad, Kindle, Nook, or other devices. To check them out, go to the Sora app or website. Just log in with Google and select your MCDS account.​
