I liked this book because it grabs you and does not let your attention let go. It is based on world war 2 and it is a great, scary, and mysterious story. Read this book if you like mystery and want to read a book with a background of the history. This is a great book. Stolen Girl by Marsha Forchuk Skrypuch Grades 5-6 Tags: historical Reviewed by Ria T. This is a book I couldn’t put down (and, bonus, there are quite a few books in the series). It was set in the 1930s, at an English boarding school. When someone is murdered, Daisy Wells and Hazel Wong’s Detective Society now has a real case to investigate. A puzzling mystery and intrigue made this book one of my favorites. The author keeps the book turning corners and adds suspense very effectively. I recommend this book to anyone who likes a good mystery with clever and diverse characters. Murder is Bad Manners by Robin Stevens Grades 4-6 Tags: historical fiction, mystery Reviewed by Chloe K. Percy Jackson is a great series for people who like mythology and action. it explains a lot about Greek mythology and in the series after that ( The Heros of Olympus ) it explains about Roman myths as well all while doing it in a fun action packed way. Percy Jackson series by Rick Riordan Grades: 2-6 Tags: adventure, mythology Reviewed by Lily K. I really like this book because it is based on a girl who can't walk and can't talk. People don't treat her with the respect she deserves. She realizes that she is very smart and is able to store lots of information in her brain. She joins the school academic team and travels around competing with them. Unfortunately, they always exclude her, and she struggles to make friends. This book is a tear jerker, I love this book, and I hope you love it too. Out of My Mind by Sharon Draper Grades: 4-6 Tags: realistic fiction, tear jerker Reviewed by Adelaide W. These are some books that are about a kid named Percy Jackson and he is having a really hard time in school. In addition, he finds out that he is a Greek demigod and that he is very powerful and special. This leads him to this Camp called camp half blood and he finds the place that he was meant for. Percy goes on many adventures with friends to defeat many evil monsters. This is an amazing series because it puts you on the edge of your seat and it is really compelling. Furthermore, you will love these books if you like learning about Greek mythology and you love fantasy. Lastly, this book had many turns and twits which made these books interesting.
